Please read carefully the following terms and conditions of this license agreement.

 

END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR Bill’s POS Software

 

Attention: You certify that you are not a minor and that you agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions set out in this License.  You agree to be responsible for any and all service provider fees. This agreement does not grant you any rights to patents, copyrights, trade secrets, trademarks (whether registered on unregistered), or any other rights of this software. You may not rent, lease, or reverse engineer this software. Copying, duplicating, selling or distributing of this software.  Bill’s POS provides you with a Product and grants you a non-exclusive license to Use the Product in accordance with the terms of this License 

 

One copy of the enclosed software package only can be use on a single PC. Bill’s POS makes no warranty or representation, either express or implied with respect to this software, any associated hardware, and documentation is licensed and sold “as is”

And you assume the entire risk, cost and liability that result from using this software and any associated hardware. In no event will Bill’s POS be liable to you or anyone for any damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost savings, or other incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use this software and any associated hardware.

 

 

 

System Requirement

 

Computer/Processor: Pentium 200 MHz or higher recommended.

Operating System: Windows 98se, Windows Me, NT2000, XP

Display: SVGA 1024x768 with Touch Screen (set to a minimum of 16 bit)

Memory:  64 MB of RAM recommended.

Hard Disk: Minimum 100 MB of free hard disk space.

Drive: CD-ROM Drive or DVD-ROM Drive

Phone: Single-line access with Caller ID service from your telephone company required.

Modem: Caller ID compatible.

 

 

 

 

Installation Instructions

 
Insert the disc in your CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive.

 
If auto-run is enabled

1.      Click on Install POS Software and follow the directions

2.      2nd L Support is optional.

3.      If no setup dialog box appears. See instructions below.

 

 
If auto-run is disabled

1.      Click the Start Button.

2.      Click on Run or go to Windows Explorer

3.      Enter D:\Setup\Setup.exe or E:\

 

For win98 user:

After software has been installed, enter your password “1133” and you will see Msg “Class not registered looking for object with CLSID” please install the file COM98.exe and DCM98CFG.exe from your CD-Rom “D:” or use your office XP CD to upgrade your windows.

 

Getting Started Start > Programs > Bill’s POS, > EZ Salon

            If you first time run the software you have to register your copy of the software with us. We need your Product Key number in order for us to get the Registration number for you.

 

You can make a Create Shortcut of EZ Salon put it in Start Up from the submenu. Every time you start up your PC, EZ Salon program will start running automatically.

 

 

Getting Started Start > Programs > Bill POS …

You can make a Create Shortcut of Salon POS put it in StartUp from the submenu. Every time you start up your PC, Salon POS program will start running automatically.

Password Mode 

After enter your password – employee ID, software will take you to your screen (only if your Manger/Owner pre set your passwords Level and Type in Employees, for limitation of access program modules/function).

 Pre Set Password:    Level 3 Owner:           1133

 

Main Windows:

Maintain –> Customer information Setup From

 

Search: Enter customer’s Phone number and click  to search the customer. You can also search by Name or Address too.

 Delete current customer information off the record.

 Click on New to add new customer information into the data.

 Click Save to save current change or new customer into the data.

Maintain -> Employees:

 

If you run the Salon Software you will not need to setup Level, Position, Security, Back Office, Reports.
Your also password is their Employee’s ID.

  Four digits only

 Delete employee

 Find employee information by ID.

 Add new employee 

  Save data

 

Reports -> Customer List:

 

List if you customer’s information for easy access.  Customer list can be delete and edit. If you want to add new customer go to end if the list, end the customer’s information at last empty line and it will be saved. For edit, just use muse click on the field you want to edit and write it over and do  not leave field empty .

 

Sales Reports:

Reports – Click on All button. Allows you to queue a list of reports for printing or viewing, you can also create and edit the format for reports form, and financial statements in MS Excel.

You can optionally sort this report by days between to view all the transactions invoices total amount information on this window (daily, monthly or yearly),  or Employee IDs: columns will view only that employee’s detail sales record,  Number of Checks, Total Sales, Cash Sales, Credit Card Sales, Gift Card Sales, Coupon Sales, Total Tender Amount and Commissions (only if you pro set the commission in Menu setup)..

Yon can change any of this data field in the window, if necessary. Just click on the field you want to change and type over.  Your new information will be save automatically. (no save button to click)

 

Settings - Information:

Enter your company name and phone number

Enter your receipt ending line

Enter the Max Sales amount, If your customer sales over the sales amount software will print out more ending line. You can enter anything you want in those line.

Set your tax rate and Click on Auto

Add more Section if needed

Set all the Printer to B

 

Printer:

This Salon software can support 1 Printer. We recommend the LPT1 port for Front Printer.

 

How to set your network printer:

After your finish the peer-to-peer network setup.  You have to set kitchen printer as a share printer in another computer first.

1.)    Click on Start >Open Printers and Fax > select the kitchen Printer

2.)    Right click the printer you want to share  > select Sharing …

3.)    Click on Sharing tab

4.)    Select Share this Printer

5.)    Click OK

 

Notes: If you have followed the steps listed above and still cannot share this printer, open Windows Firewall. (To open Windows Firewall, click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Windows Firewall.) Then, on the Exceptions tab, select the File and Printer Sharing check box.

 

Now, you can go back to your first computer check the network and network printer. If you setup properly, this computer will automatically add all network printers to this computer.  See if you setup up properly by open you Windows Explorer in Start > All Programs > Accessories > Windows Explorer. If you Address Bar not in your Windows Explorer, go to View > Toolbars > select Address bar.

1.)    Open My Network Places

2.)    Open Entire Network

3.)    Open Microsoft Windows Network

4.)    Open Work group that you named, and you should see your other computer in that. If not you network not be setup property.

5.)     Select the computer that connects with the kitchen printer. And you should also see the listed name of those printers. If not, that means you network printer not be setup property.

6.)     Copy the text on you address –like “\\Server” to Bill POS software > Back Office > Settings > Printer Settings > In Where  text box.

7.)    Enter the name of the printer in Type and “\” before the printer name.

8.)     What order will be print out on the printer.

 You can optionally to printer each items price on the kitchen printer.

1.) Select a Section first from Total of 15 sections on the right .
2.) Enter ID and Item name, pricing and commissions.

3.) If you edit menu, just click on the field and rewrite it over.

 

 

Salon POS Sales

a.                  Click on  to add new/edit customer to the recorder.

Enter all your customer’s information and click  and click Back to

Click Back return to Sales window.

If you purchase the MSR reader from us, you can sweep driver’s license.

Software will fill in the name and address for you to speed up you service.

 

b.                  On the Main Menu, click Sales.

Enter your Employee’s ID

Enter Customer’s Phone Number and Click Search to find out this customer information if he/her already in file (Optional)

 

 

c.                  Select a Service Section group on the right, such as Hair Cut.

 

 

d.                  Select a detail service, such as Men Hair Cut. if here is a discount and enter your discount first and select “Men Hair Cut. Notes for some other special service charge.

 

e.                  Click Tender Recall.

 

 

f.        Enter ID (try 1133) and click Tender Recall again.

 

g.      Swipe credit card or enter information manually.  If swiping the credit card, the transaction will automatically start processing when the swiping is complete.  If keying the credit card information manually, user will have to enter the Tender amount prior to submitting the transaction for processing.

 

h.       Once transaction is successful, the first receipt will automatically print and user will be asked if a second receipt should be printed.

 

Reservation:

 

            1. Select your employee’s name

            2. Pick a day
            3. Enter your customer’s information

            4. Enter schedule time.

            5. Click on Save.
